For Auntie Becky and Uncle Chris - #1

The weekend at Frazier Park

t
i

It was just so great to be there, relax, eat, laugh, and enjoy life. Brad and Heather Newbold had a housewarming for the new home and it was a hit. Sunday morning we woke up to snow and I couldn't believe how freezing it was! We were going to go on a hike but instead we stayed in, drank hot chocolate and coffee, sat by the fire, watched a movie, and bundled up in blankets. It was just your typical day at the Newbolds. I loved it.

Wicked

I don't have much to show for the show but what I have are these three things. But don't think that because I didn't take a lot of pictures with my new Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS that I didn't absolutely love the show because I did! Guys, if you have the opportunity to go, then just go. Dan and I loved it and it was an all around wonderful night. Man, just thinking about it makes me want to go again.

Pumpkin Patch 2

Here my little friend is again saying hello to some of the women in his life although he wouldn't greet all of the women in his life. He made me smile quite a few times today.

Pumpkin Patch

Here's my little friend and I at the Pumpkin Patch. I believe he's telling his parents, and only his parents, hello.

Kevin & Kristin's Engagement in Santa Monica

After getting my black eye this past Saturday morning, I headed to Santa Monica to meet up with Kevin and Kristin for their Engagement shoot. I'll be honest, I was a bit out of it (I did smash my head into a counter top and all) but I enjoyed myself and I think the pictures turned out rather well. This couple certainly are creative and fun to be around. I'm so thankful that I got to be apart of this day and I look forward to being apart of their wedding.

Big Set

So we shot Big Set... built it, did everything, bought the props, the clothing, found these amazing models, and shot the sucker. It turned out pretty good... It's still in the editing stages but here's a preliminary of it. Not bad eh?

Commercialization

So this week was an attempt to commercialize our style of shooting in a series of three images. Trick is, we had to use one of our past images from our Self Promotion assignment and then build off that image to create two other images that can go into the commercial market. Anyhow, here is my attempt. I like the images, I hope it works for this assignment. We shall see!

Winter Catalog Cover

Is it already beginning to feel a lot like Winter? Oh I sure hope so! I love the cold, festive season. Here are three images from my assignment that will hopefully aid in getting you in the mood for all things cold, delicious, and savory.

Great Grandma's Candy Dish

I had to shoot the candy dish in six different styles. Hopefully you all think that six different photographers shot the same object. Here's the secret, lean in, I'll whisper it... six different photographers didn't shoot the candy dish, just me.

Catlog Fashion

Fancy, fancy. I had the opportunity to shoot Shannel wearing this beautiful jacket. It was a fun shoot and she did an amazing job! Thanks so much Shannel!

Wolfe

Nathan modeled for me this evening along with his girlfriend Shannel. Both were excellent. It just so happens that I have only edited a few of Nathan's images and haven't even touched Shannel's. So here are the four that are done... at least I think they're done.

Nathan is portraying James McAvoy and a fine job he did at that. Thanks Nathan for working with me and being so perfectly you.

Dixon Wedding

Last Friday September 12th I had the opportunity of driving up to beautiful Galt and shooting a friend of a friends wedding. It was pretty great and the couple were beautiful! The wedding party was pretty ridiculously fun which made for an excellent day. Here are two images, I know, only two, from the day of the couple. Congratulations and may you grow more in love each day!

Some things that I think are pretty even after a year...

Here are some pictures that I took a while back which I like. Just thought I'd share... or even reshare some things that I've done.
