Dixon Wedding

Last Friday September 12th I had the opportunity of driving up to beautiful Galt and shooting a friend of a friends wedding. It was pretty great and the couple were beautiful! The wedding party was pretty ridiculously fun which made for an excellent day. Here are two images, I know, only two, from the day of the couple. Congratulations and may you grow more in love each day!

Food Photography

Thank you Camille for making such excellent food and then letting us eat it! It was FANTASTIC. So, this was an assignment for my Advertising class this week. I had to turn in two images, but I shot some extra credit which will certainly help me in the long run.

Not the best thing ever but technically, I got it right on. It was supposed to be about the background more then the model. But whatever. It looks good.

For school I've shot a few assignments... a novel illustration (book cover) a cover and spread for Vanity Fair magazine, and a few other things... but here are the two I just mentioned (well three technically).

Luke so kindly "modeled" for me so that I could capture an image of me at Peter and Linzi's BBQ. Is that vain? I hope not. 'Cause, you see, this picture is fun. Get it? Got it? Great.

Hansen Wedding

This past weekend I had the privilege of flying out to Chicago to shoot the wedding of Peter Hansen and Linzi Cain. The whole weekend was amazing and I could not be any happier for the couple. I honestly can't say enough how much I love these two and admire them and their relationship for one another. Praise God that I got to be involved in such an excellent event!

Martzen Engagement Shoot

Sorry guys, it's been a long time and I've been lazy about this whole blogging thing. I guess I should pick up the pace. Anyways, I just shot some Engagement pictures for some friends and it was a quick, quick shoot because the sun was going down. Thank goodness for flashes and high ISO's enabling me to capture some nice exposures. Although it was fast, I had a great time. My dad came along and was my right hand man holding the flash. He's a great man.
